We specialise in undertaking transformational scale developments and are focussed on producing sustainable investor returns from the decarbonisation and innovation of the electricity markets.
Our focus for 2020 is on the development of our 2-Gigawatt pipeline of renewable electricity assets in Italy, through a combination of utility scale solar photovoltaic plants and battery storage facilities.

Alta Capital was formed to drive the energy transition through the creation of renewable projects able to produce long-term value in competitive markets.
Bringing over 80 years of global experience and 6 GW of successful projects, the Alta Capital founders invest in sustainable and bankable solar and storage projects in markets where they can deliver a clear strategic advantage.
Sustainability
We have committed to invest 5% of Alta’s profits to the creation of additional forestry capable of storing carbon and preserving biodiversity.
Alta Capital has created a Tree Trust to reforest land, creating a growing carbon sink that also promotes biodiversity. The Paris Agreement envisions that 25% of countries’ carbon mitigation efforts up to 2030 will come from land use, of which forestry is, of course, a vital component.
Alta Capital will use its profits to invest, via the Tree Trust, in these ‘negative emissions’ furthering its mission to create a sustainable future for our families and communities.
